Coronavirus COVID-19 Official Notice for International Students in Universitas Brawijaya

CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 OFFICIAL NOTICE
FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS UNIVERSITAS BRAWIJAYA

NUMBER 2893/UN10/TU/2020

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic situation continues to rapidly evolve with the escalation of positive cases on a national level and in regard with the Circular Letter from Rector of Universitas Brawijaya number 2844/UN10/TU/2020 dated March 13, 2020 concerning about Prevention of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Universitas Brawijaya, as a result, we are taking the following steps for international students to protect our campus community :

  1. International students are asked not to travel abroad until the destination country is safe from the Covid-19 pandemic.
  2. International students are asked to postpone any domestic trips to the Covid-19 pandemic area in Indonesia.
  3. International students should continue their academic activities according to each faculty policy.
  4. International students should postpone participation in various national and international activities for an unspecified time.
  5. It is recommended for international students not to go to campus if they are ill and must take care of their health.
  6. For international students who have to go abroad for urgent matters, they must write an official report regarding their departure and arrival to International Office Universitas Brawijaya, including the accompanying family.
  7. Upon returning from overseas. international students are required to do self-quarantine for 14 days at their own residence and thereafter must check themselves and their accompanying family to the UB Hospital (RUMAH SAKIT UNIVERSITAS BRAWIJAYA – RSUB).
